Visit the beautiful Preah Vihear Temple (UNESCO World Hertitage Site, July 2008) located on the Thai and Cambodian border, perched on the edge of a giant cliff in the spectacular Dongrek Mountains.

Departure for this tour will be at 7am from your hotel in Siem Reap. We will travel through the beautiful Cambodian countryside to Anlong Veng, which was the last stronghold and headquarters of the Khmer Rouge and the town where Pol Pot was convicted for ‘crimes against the Cambodian people’ and where he and Ta Mok were buried.
This area of Cambodia has stunning mountain scenery which you will be able to enjoy as we travel towards Trapeang and Sra Em, where we will have lunch. After lunch we will visit and explore the Preah Vihear temple on top of the Dangrek mountain range and learn about the history of the temple, the area and the recent border disputes.
In the afternoon we will return to Anlong Veng and continue to Siem Reap for dinner and overnight stay.
