Even if you only have one day to visit Angkor, you can experience the beauty and mystery of the major temples including Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and the Bayon.

In the morning visit Angkor Thom, the 12th century ancient capital of the Khmer Empire. Explore the Bayon Temple (Temple of Smiles), the Elephants Terrace and the Royal Enclosure and imagine what live would have been like all those centuries ago. Continue your visit at Ta Phrom Temple, which is the Tomb Raider temple with the many gigantic roots on the temples structure.

After lunch at a local restaurant spend the full afternoon to experience the wonder and magic of the temple city Angkor Wat. Learn about how the complex was created, the detailed carvings, visit each tier and view the surroundings from the top.

We will finish the tour viewing the sunset over Angkor Wat, which for many is an experience they will never forget.
